Insurance Should Be Personal — And So Should Your Agent

 

I’m Paul Lipps, founder of PMG Group Insurance and your licensed insurance advisor. I built this boutique agency so I can work directly with every client — personally, thoughtfully, and without the layers of a multi-agent storefront.


After more than 35 years in sales, customer service, and business leadership, I realized something important about myself: I enjoy helping people directly, not indirectly. When PMG Group began as a storefront Allstate agency in 2015, I found myself leading a growing staff — hiring, training, managing, and supervising daily operations. But the bigger the agency became, the more disconnected I felt from the part of the job I loved most: working one-on-one with clients. So I made an intentional shift.
Today, PMG Group Insurance is a boutique independent agency with a simple purpose — to give every client a smarter, more flexible insurance strategy and a personal relationship with the person who handles it all: me.

My Journey: From Multi-Agent Storefront to Boutique Independent

 I sold my Allstate agency so I could serve people better.

When I first opened my doors, I ran a full retail-style operation with multiple agents and a fast-growing customer base. It was exciting, but it wasn’t truly me.
My passion has always been helping individuals and families understand their insurance, make smart decisions, and feel confident their coverage is built around their lives.

Becoming a boutique agency wasn’t downsizing — it was right-sizing.
Today, my clients don’t get passed to different staff members. They don’t deal with inconsistency. They work directly with the person who knows their entire insurance picture: me.

The 3 F’s: My Personal Philosophy

 Family. Friends. Financial Goals.

These three values anchor my life and my business. They shape how I communicate, how I serve, and the level of care I bring to every client relationship. Insurance isn’t just about policies — it’s about helping people protect what matters most and supporting their goals without adding stress or complexity.

 In 2022, I transitioned from a captive model to a fully independent agency — so you have more options, not fewer.
