The Elvis FANtasy Fest has always been a part of my family’s life. My parents, Kay and Paul Lipps, along with Shirley Lyday, founded the event in 1993 as a way to honor Elvis Presley’s charitable spirit while raising funds for the Porter County Special Olympics. Over the years, it grew into a beloved tradition where fans could come together to celebrate Elvis’ music, legacy, and generosity.
In 2014, when my dad and Shirley both passed away, my mom was left carrying the responsibility of continuing the festival. She needed help, and at the same time, I was in the process of starting PMG Group. It felt natural for me to step in and incorporate this amazing event into my work. I knew I wanted to carry forward what my parents and Shirley had built. Through PMG Group Inc., I took on the stewardship of the Elvis FANtasy Fest to continue their mission—blending entertainment with philanthropy and keeping Elvis’ memory alive through giving.
Today, the Elvis FANtasy Fest is not only a celebration of The King but also an annual fundraiser that supports the community. For me, it’s both an honor and a personal responsibility to preserve what my parents started and to share in the joy this event brings year after year.
